Abilities/Spells:

Water Cloak [WATER]- Low level water move, creates a barrier of water in front of the caster to block attacks.
●The move is most effective against fire attacks, but outside of that it’s effects are minimal at best since it is unable to halt physical attacks or anything heavy. At most it slows them.
●Stationary shield, once the caster moves it dissolves.
●The larger the shield is made, the weaker it gets, thus its not recommended to be used to cover more than two people at once.

Deluge [WATER]- Higher level water move, drenches the opponent in a sudden deluge of water.
●Very strict on which direction it is going in. Once used you can’t change the direction till after the duration of the spell.
●Strong attack the rush of water the spell creates can be used for long ranged attacks if need be.

Gungnir [LIGHT] - Offensive spell that gathers charged light energy to be throw, very much like a spear in appearance.
●As it is a light attack, it is only effective against demons, otherwise it’s a fancy waste of energy for Tobias.
●Has a wider and more destructive area of attack, it hits an area then lashes out around that point of contact, but it is nowhere near as precise as other spells.
●Takes a bit of energy to use, regardless of how many opponents it hits, it’s always going to cost the same amount to use it.

Rapid Healing [LIGHT] - Low level healing spell, once casted it speeds up the healing in cuts and other small wounds.
●A ring of runes circle the affected area using light magic to speed up the healing.
●How much energy is given to the spell tells how much it’ll heal and how fast. Though this also relies on the size of the wound as well.
●It will not heal larger wounds, but may slow the bleeding or lessen the pain.

GROPE [(let's get) PHYSICAL] - The title tells you all.
●This is a very powerful ability; it takes a lot of skill to do it just right.
●There are various ways this ability can be performed, depending on the reaction the user would like to see from the person they perform it upon.
●The move itself is rather weak, but the effects of the ability can be tremendous.

Personality: A very two faced young man. Either he knows you or he doesn't, and if he doesn't know you he's not going to try very hard. Typically he comes off as rather proper and business like. He treats most people politely (not necessarily kindly). If he doesn't feel like he needs you for something, you might as well not exist in his train of thought. On the other hand, to the people he does know and considers to be friends, he can be significantly more friendly (a LOT more). If he considers you a friend he comes off as a lot more laid back, not too worried about formalities and willing to joke around.

Likes/Dislikes:

Likes:
● Finishing a job (and having it end well).
● Snow and colder weather.
● Liveliness (if he finds it too quiet he will find a way to make some sound, such as talking to himself loudly in his house). It helps him think better.
● Nice clothing.
● Rebinding books.

Dislikes:
● Cleaning up things, his house is terrible it would take a year to actually re-organize all of his stuff back where it belongs.
● Ties.
● Fighting. Particularly the childish bickering type (it grates on his nerves and gives him a headache).
● People more talented than him. Most things he can ignore, but if it’s magic related he might be particularly cold to the other person (unless he already knew them, he holds back then).
● Particularly hot weather (especially since he won’t exactly take off much clothing, he’d rather look nice then unkempt even if it is hot out).

History:

• Grew up in Praesidiumwith his two parents. They were rather well off financially, and lived in a rather big house.

His parents were both pretty decent people. They spent a lot of time with him and taught him what they knew as well. They aren’t too worried about what he does as long as he’s not getting hurt (and will help if he asks for it).
• Mother was a former Valkyrie who excelled at magic. She was the more heavy handed parent who makes all the decisions with ease.
• Father is a repairman.

• Spent much of his childhood learning (schooling/tutors). So he was constantly on the move doing things.

He actually was a terror as a child. And while he liked some aspects of what he was being taught, anything he was bad in or others were better in stressed him out a lot. He’d lash out at people, but since he didn’t want to be seen as the stupid one, he’d try all the harder and just stress himself out ten times worse (it was a cycle of fkjalfjsd).
• Because of this he tended to be a bit confusing mood wise. Not helping him to earn many friends when one moment he might be fine, the next frustrated and angry.
• If he got stressed out enough over things he’d usually break out in angry tears. But wouldn't really want to stop whatever it was that got him crying.

• His mother was the one who initially introduced him to magic, though it was mostly just basic simple things.
• He met a boy named Ralph early on in life when his parents ‘volunteered’ him to watch the other. He really didn’t want to, but his parents pushed him into it so he found a lot of his time eaten up stalking the bratty kid. Becoming his honorary babysitter.
• After he got out of schooling he began to calm down considerably. All of the constant bothers, people, and classes were gone and he could focus on whatever he felt like.

• Probably not the best thing, the moment he realized he was failing at certain things he’d often just drop it immediately to work on perfecting something he was good at.
• He also began purposely avoiding interaction with other people unless he needed them for something. The few shaky friendships he had from schooling were lost fairly fast.
• At this point he started learning more and more about magic, expanding what he knew and strengthening his abilities.
• Still knew Ralph at this point, only urged on to watch him more because of his blatant disregard for keeping himself from breaking a bone.

• Out of boredom he took on a job as a librarian and currently spends most of his time floating around.

Trivia:
●He doesn’t understand the concept of putting things back where the belong. And often times you’ll find his stuff spread out around his home in odd places (He picks something up, goes to get something else, and puts down the first thing he had and leaves it there. Forgetting entirely).
●Despite being a librarian, he does not work at the front desk. Rather he deals with stuff behind the scenes such as reshelving returned books, and repairing old damaged books (rebinding- etc etc).
●Bad with names. Dubs people with nicknames to remember better. Usually not very well thought out ones.
●Despite liking magic related books, he probably should treat the things better than he does. A lot of his books are well used and dog-eared. Half of the time they won’t be found on a bookshelf -- rather, the floor.

●If they are not on the shelf. He likes them. And if they are on the shelf, he probably hasn’t touched them in a long long time.
●If the book is severely damaged he will take the time to rebind them. His current tome (weapon) has been rebound several times with different covers and designs.

●How does one tie a tie.
●If he knows and sees you, he is going to greet you regardless of what is happening at the time. It’s only polite.
●He just does not want to wear his glasses all the time. Though this could be because he tends to misplace them as well- but its only part of the problem. But because of this he strains himself when trying to look at things and gets headaches.

●50% of the time those glasses are on his head.
●Headaches also can be caused by stressful situations.
●He’s started to buy potions from Jace that help with the matter (even if they are few and far between).

●He’s decent at picking up abilities that have to do with magic, anything with magic he finds himself learning easily and fast without too much effort. Everything else on the other hand is a disaster waiting to happen. The first time he tried to dust a shelf he knocked it over on himself.
